I was referred to this panel beater by Outsurance late last year after someone backed into my Daihatsu Copen, damaging the rear wing and bumper. I was told the part was ordered (from overseas) and they would let me know once it has arrived. Nearly three months later I got a call from the owner (I assume) who told me the part had come. I asked him to give me just until the end of the month to make other transport arrangements. To this he replied that he had now ordered a R8000 part that will be sitting on his shelf and while it's there, it's costing him money. I told him that I do understand that and that I would phone him for an appointment as soon as possible. Today I phoned the land line and spoke to a woman. I asked her if I would be able to get my car today (6 days after taking it in) and she said that I'm pushing it. Like she 'explained to the "outjie" (my husband) that phoned earlier" the vehicle is still in the spray bay. I told her we got news that the vehicle was in the spray bay since yesterday and I urgently need it back, to which she sarcastically replied that she would see what she could do, but it's too early to ask for the car back. SHOCKING!!!
