After purchasing my second Jeep (wrangler Sahara) i was advised to extend the maintenance contract, costing me 19K, assuring all would be covered. It seemed a good investment. My car went in for it's last service under the plan this Sept. at which time I reported the faulty windscreen wipers. Upon collection i was told that this was repaired however to my surprise they were not. I called Jeep Sandton and was told that they were awaiting authorisation from the warranty dept. being assured i would get a call back. Never happened. After chasing I was eventually informed that I could come in (30 October) only to be called later to say; NO, this is not covered as it is due to weather damage and I must cover the 5K replacement of the TIPM module. I blew up and attempted to fight the claims deptment. It is now a month since i was promised investigation and possible repair to the Tipm module and have not received the promised call back from Jepp Sandton Management, Chrysler Warranty Department Manager Midrand or the Service advisor. From my 20K spent i received 2 services totalling /-11K. A Jeep may show 'No Limits' but the staff, service and mainatanance contracts have plenty.
