Almost 3 weeks ago I sent a request for a van on CALL-A-CAR.An agent phoned me, forwarded me details of the van's location. I spoke to the sales agent who confirmed the vehicle is arriving at the dealership in a few days as well as the confirmation of color, mileage and service history. In this interim I have confirmed finance, insurance and about to make travel plans from Durban to Witbank to fetch the car. Now I have been advised after I enquire that the car does not have a service book as it cannot be found and also the mileage is not 75000km but 98000km. The response I received from the used car sale manager is that it is up to me to buy the car - a response I should not get from an established Dealership All this time has been wasted and I have passed on other better deals only because I thought I could get a good deal from Mccarty - This is not the first time they have advertised a car where it has not materialised into a deal. They will not even attempt to find a solution. It seems that they are no different from the dodgy car dealers around the corner. I can only imagine their after sales service. I certainly will not NOT RECOMMEND EVENING LOOKING FOR A CAR AT MCCARTY
