Recently purchased my first BMW. Amazing car. Nothing compares.
So a light on my dash goes on, and stays on for over a month.
Called BMW Alberante and BMW Autoglen for advice, but i was really dissapointed by the service.
1. I was placed on hold by the receptionist at Alberante and waited atleast 5 minutes whilst being transferred back and forth between the workshop and reception. No-one answered the phone.
Eventually i got annoyed, so i dropped the call and googled another branch in my area.
Surprising that the website doesn't give contact information for each branch (or maybe i didnt spend time looking).
2. I then called BMW Autoglen, and the very same thing occured over and over and over, until the receptionist advised that all 3 technical advisors are busy with customers. Although understandable, its still a crying shame to manufacture the most beautifully perfected vehicles in the world, and for your customer service to let you down in the end.
Anyway, i dont need BM's apologies and phonecalls, its important to fix the problem for future ref.
It would be a good idea to atleast allow customers to leave a voicemail if BMW uses the PABX system or equivalent. This will help.
