On 24 January 2013 I saw an advert on Gumtrees in which the abovementioned Dealer advertised a 2013 VW Polo 1.4 Comfortline for R164000 subject to taking Volkswagen Finance. On 25 January 2013 at 09:30 I contacted Wayne at Weiss on his cell phone and asked him to send me the details, he responded by saying that he is driving and that I should send him a text message with my email which I did immediately. I also replied to the ad via the internet. At about 12:00 I phoned him again and he said that he did send the email but it must be lost on the server. He said that he will sent it again. He never respond and on 26 January 2013 I noticed that the ad is still exactly the same except for the price that was now changed to R174 000.
When a Dealer claims that they have won the price as the best dealership, false advertising should not form part of the Business image. Wayne about the email and then he went and change the price on the deal. I still did not receive an email from the Dealer.
