I took my car for a full service to Motospot Services in Plumbstead. The reading on the clock was 220 000 km. That and the fact that I'm a lady should've implicated that they should make sure that I need complete peace of mind when I get my serviced car back. As an additional check I mentioned that the water tank for my windscreen wipers is leaking. First time: Got the car back from service and drove off.
Two days later I noticed that the leak was still there and my motor was stalling while driving. I went back. Issue was that spark plugs need to be replaced. Their excuse: They usually give a very basic service when ladies bring the car in. Appalling! I need to feel safe when I am on the road. Secondly, they did not have time to check the leak during the first service. Why not warn me about it?
For the second service they promised to do it. I got my car back after the second service. Rudi, the owner promised that they did look at the leak. Guess what? That water tank was as empty as when I took it in. They did not even bother to look at it never mind fix it, but still that they did.
I want to warn all ladies: Do not take your car for a service to Motospot Service!
