I had booked an urgent collection for next day delivery from a company in CPT to be delivered to me in JHB. Over email I provided payment confirmation and full collection and delivery address. I then emailed back to ask if it was collected and being delivered to me and the sales person stated that the person it was collected form had written Illovo Durban instead of Illovo Johannesburg and therefore it will now only be delivered the next day. I stated this is unacceptable and I will not even be in JHb tomorrow and require it today as I have paid for and found out that the sender did not even wrote Durban on anything. ram then states: ' My apologies but as per the quote I sent you it clearly states that our drivers are not allowed to fill in the waybill and I checked with my CPT branch and the driver states that he did not fill in the waybill hence the reason for the delay of the parcel is because the waybill was filled in incorrectly.'
I do not understand this, why ask me for full collection and delivery address and then not use it?
