On Saturday 24 August 2013, i took my car to Goodhope tires in Parow Vortrekker road. I paid for new 195/65/R15 tires. i swiped my debit card for the transaction. eventually a young lad assisted me wuth the fitment. when he was done i realised that the tire was used. not only was it dirty it had sand and stones stuck within its threading showing it had worked before. i checked the other one and realized a similar thing. so i called the supervisor Faim and explained. to which, in aggression he went to fetch one brand new tire and another used one. after the job was done i inspoected and complained again about the used one. it had roughly 97% of its threading but none the less was still used.
I called Faim again to which he told me to get my money and leave as i was a difficult customer. i asked him what the purpose of the yellow and purple marking on the sole (part that runs on the road) of the tire was for? It indicated the newness of the tire. i showed him 2 other cars being fitted along with mine the difference to which he raised his voice and told me he had no time for my nonsense. So i asked for a refund. now my money is stuck within a banking suspense account for 10days :(
