We bought a second hand Daihatsu terios from centurion select, we experienced our first problems within the first two weeks, in short, we had to return this car 8 times in five months and they only supplied us twice with a loan car. They refused to take the car back and cancel the deal as they said it is only a small problem. We took this matter to the MIO and they requested that the car must go to the agents for repairs, well their so called small problem is worth R24000.00 to repair. They then went and collect the vehicle from the agents and took it to a auto electrician to get a "second opinion" The response from this guy is that there is nothing wrong, they just cleared this light (just indicates how much these guys know). This is now after the agents who is the experts on a daihatsu identified the problem and said there is no shortcuts in fixing this problem, a oxygen sensor and electric harness needs to be replaced, then there is a drive shaft and crank seal that also needs replacement which caused excessive noise from the drive train and also an oil leak. It is now again two weeks since we returned this car and still no progress and with one big transport problem!!!
