I went on the HYUNDAI website on Friday 9 August. The advertised an Elantra 1.8 atomatic 2013 model for R R219 900.00. I went to see the car (it wasn't there) anyway test drove a 2012. Decided to get the 2013 model. So went back on Monday with a prinout handed to them. Guess what price R 229 900.00. Feedback "oeps our mistake". Fine left it really liked the car. Finance in place everything ready. So got a call today from the dealers. Oh Mr Steyn it's actually a 2012 model and not 2013 as advertised. So I went back on the site and magic all changes 2012 model for R 229 900.00. Now what? Is this false advertising just to get the cars sold? I wonder if it will have 18 000 km as advertised? Will someone explain to me why this happened and why should I spend more money on a 2012. What is Hyundai gonna do about it? Will someone explain to me why this happened and why should I spend more money on a 2012? What is Hyundai gonna do about it? Let me answer that. Oh we apologies but it was a human error and we have rectify the mistake. So so sad the way we used to PATHETIC service and excuses in South Africa. That's now if they will give feedback.
