McCarthy Kunene Witbank have repaired a gearbox problem on my car and still have it in their possession. The reason they still have it is because I haven't paid for the extensive repairs they did. Even though I have not paid them yet, McCarthy Kunene Witbank is going the extra mile.

I leased the car to someone else, who took it to a mechanic in Bethal where the car was "repaired". After paying for the repairs the car was driven for a few days and then was almost in an accident when the gearbox locked up as it crossed an intersection. After a battle with the mechanic, we decided to take legal action against the mechanic and sue him to pay for further repairs. We took the car to McCarthy Witbank and gave the 'go-ahead' to repair the vehicle based on the lawyer's advice but eventually we found out that we would not be able to recover the costs of repair. Now I am stuck with the 'hot potato' and have to sell the car so I can pay for the repairs and the settlement.

Walter, General Service Manager, agreed to keep my car and wait for me to sell it, he even offered to wash the car when someone who might be interested in buying it comes to see it.
