On the morning of May 16 I took my car for panel beating and an Avis driver Sipho was supposed to deliver the car at the panel beaters (Alberante) in Droste Park at 9am. According to my tracker trip logbook, I got there at 8:43am and waited for the mechanics to inspect the car. They were done at around 9am. Then the wait for Sipho began, he got there way after 9:15am from the Braamfontein branch. I inspected the car with him and at around 925 to 930am I left the panel beaters place with the ugly Hyundai i10. This morning I get an sms from you saying there's a fine. I checked online and the fine says, the traffic infringement happened at 9:04am. Now, does Avis have a time machine that rewinds the car and put me in your stupid car at 9:04am? Check your tracking trip logbook, check the time that your ugly car left Braamfontein depot to the time it got at Droste Park (Alberante Panel Beaters). You will see that your driver was still on the way. There is no way I am paying for this ticket and I need this sorted today and transaction reversed as it will impact on my good name.
