I went to Harley Davidson in Cape Town on Thursday the 27/06/2013 to buy a second hand Harley that i saw advertised on Gumtree, after looking at the bike and deciding to take it i then placed a deposit to make sure the bike was mine and the salesman that helped me then insured me that the bike was mine and he parked the bike inside the showroom and placed a sold sign on the bike. i then had to wait for the finance to go through and again the people at Harley insured me that the bike was mine and the finance was taking long because it was end of the month
i then phoned Harley on the Friday to tell them to please not sell the bike as the finance was definitely going through again the salesman said they cant sell the bike as i had paid a deposit.By Monday the finance was through only to get a call from Harley to say sorry the bike was sold and there's nothing they can do,
Harley Davidson Cape Town are the biggest bunch of liars and have no sense of ethics, if this is the way they do business then i hope no one does business with them they will just rip you off. I will never recommend anyone to buy from them and will put this complaint in the bike mags as well.
