I purchased my Renault Megane vehicle in September 2010. The car came with a built in Tom Tom navigation system which has proven to be more admin than it is worth. Over 3 months ago the device stopped working and displayed the error message "no maps found". After taking the car into Renault Tokai, I was told that a new card had to be ordered and it would take up to 8 weeks to arrive-which I had no problem with. However, 10 weeks went by and no one bothered to contact me on the status of this problem. I phoned multiple times only to be told I would be phoned back and to my dismay - nobody ever did phone me back. Finally, I managed to speak to someone who preceded to inform me that the card had in fact not been ordered and basically forgotten about. I was told I have to bring my vehicle BACK to the service centre and they would solve the problem. Once again, dismay. After going through the admin of not having a car for another day - the problem has now been shifted to Tom Tom international. I honestly feel as though due to my ripe age of 21, I have been treated unfairly and with disrespect and am at a loss with where to turn to next and am extremely frustrated with this situation.
