My Mercedes car Mobilo service plan was cancelled by Mercedes SA 'Warranty and Maintenance Department' in September 2012 despite validity of plan till October 2013. Cited reason by referred department for cancellation is 'As per the vehicle service history, the vehicle was not serviced timeously on the required kilometers and dates set out by the manufacturer'.
Initially reason for cancellation cited at service station were repairs supposedly done by un-authorized service station. Upon exchange of correspondence with Mercedes SA, reason for cancellation of Mobilo plan was changed to the quoted above.
All services of car have been done when prompted by car computer and all repairs performed by Mercedes authorized stations. To facilitate identification of events which led to Mobilo plan cancellation, I prepared chronology of all events related to car repairs and services since new and sent it to Mercedes SA on 17 October 2012.
However, it seems Mercedes is unable to go beyond 'As per the vehicle service history, the vehicle was not serviced timeously on the required kilometers and dates set out by the manufacturer' and pinpoint event or events which let to cancellation.
