Recently we had a break in. After the owner Johan of Safricom Telecommunications ignored us, we phoned the letting agency. Parents did that on our behalf (because we are students and numerous calls of ours have been ignored) as not one of these people listened to us. At Half pass 12, just after the break in, the letting agency told us that is was not their problem, that we had to talk to the owner and that we were "lafaards" (cowards) by the owner of the letting company because we asked them about basic security in a student house which was promised in the beginning of 2013. Normally one would not have the owners number, but the letting agency. They call and harass every student on the first for rent, but when it comes to basic security they have nothing to do about it. Since when do u as a lessor go straight to the owner?? This is a property agency who takes money from students, who already struggle to pay class fees, and now also has to worry about people braking in. And just to put into perspective, they tried to break in twice wile every one was awake. The electric fence is out of order, and the little barbed wire hangs lower than the wall
