On the evening of the 24th of April we celebrated my aunts 60th birthday at the Orient restaurant in Melrose Arch.
The evening started off wonderfully, the food was fantastic the service was excellent, we were all having a great time.
however towards the end of the evening my aunt whose birthday it was started feeling faint and as we tried to get her out so she could get some fresh air she fainted. The staff were very helpful.
when we took her outside she felt much better and asked if we could finish our evening outside, the waiter and manager were very accommodating.
The amazing thing was that the manager offered my aunt a fruit smoothie to help her feel better and when he brought it out he said it was on the house and so was her meal! even though the restaurant was in no way at fault.
I am sad to say that I am not used to such amazing service and think that all service providers should learn something from this.
I will definitely be going back to the Orient and will be recommending it to all who ask.
