I am on a very strict Doctors Diet. I need to eat very specific foods and quantities.
I was having meeting with an important client and was buying him lunch.
I asked for the manager/owner as a courtesy so I could explain that I needed to eat my little portion of food but would be buying lunch and coffees etc.
He promptly replied that he would not allow me to eat my food at all on his premises and was adamant that it was policy.
If I was bringing a pizza (or something) from another restaurant I would understand this but really - a small tupperware container containing a little salad???
Basically - we had to get out of there and I went and had an awesome afternoon over the passage in the Wimpy!
Mugg and Bean Fourways Mall will never ever get any business from me ever again!
They do not deserve to be in business - but the franchise is strong so I suppose they can get away with treating people like that.
