I have had several bad experiences at the keg and beagle which culminated in an incident last night. I will explain all of them to give a clear picture why I am so upset. To give background. the keg and beagle hold a quiz night every thursday night which myself and my team have attended every week for 2 years.
There have been several times when I have booked a table and when I have arrived it had not been reserved.
One particularly bad incident occurred when I booked a table via sms with the manager (chris). when I arrived he had given the table away. First he blamed me for the mistake, when i showed him the sms to confirm, he blamed his staff. then he kicked the people out whom he had just given our table to.
We have been charged incorrect prices. The prices on the menu are frequently different to those at the bar.
We had an incident where we booked a table and then were completely ignored the entire night, absolutely no service.
The food is always different and of bad quality.
The wait staff are unfriendly
Last night we were told that were werent ordering enough & would be charged R50 per person. this isnt policy nor is it on any signs. we were singled out.
