Last week I was on my way home so I decided to order a cheese burger with chips & coke at Engen Grasmere Southbound. After ordering my food I thought of buying gums on the side (which is the Engen). You can imagine the queue for Easters but I did not stay long.
After buying my gums I spotted a take away bag sitting next to the till so I asked one of the girls if it was my burger and she confidently said NO so I waited. She said they were still busy. I thought they will be done since I spent few minutes on the garage queue. I waited again up until I noticed that they were serving people who were not in the queue. I ask again if it was not my burger that is sitting there and she said no again. Ok I waited once more. They were two girls who were serving us and one kept on looking at us as if we don't exist. After some time one girl said it was actually my burger after standing there for 30minutes or so. She gave me the burger and I was not surprised my food was cold, my bun was stale and my lettuce was dead. There were no serviettes or salt or sauce. I mean how am I going to eat chips with no salt? I thought of returning it but I thought of those awful stories I always hear.
