I ordered ribs/ steak with baked potato on 3 separate occassions. the first 2 times i fell victim to food poisoning. I fortunately avoided this grave situation on the 3rd occassion but then also discovered the reason why. It seems the common denominator was the baked potato.
this 3rd order was a take-away. as a result, the potato was not covered in cream. when i opened it from the foil, i was overcome with its horrible stench. the potato skin was pink in color. yes, the color it turns when it starts to rot! to add insult to injury, i opted for the 2nd baked potato that was ordered and surprise suprise, that too was rotten. unfortunately, for cattle baron, this was part of a group take-away order and my colleagues witnessed this. we called the restaurant to lodge the complaint. i was then contacted by the manager and then subsequently an email was sent.
my initial complaint only mentioned this 3rd take-away order. when i responded to their email to note the previous 2 occassions, my email was merely ignored. i sent another follow up email to the manager and MD, but still have not had a response for over a month. my advice to other patrons is to pay attention to all items.
