On sunday, 10 February at around 1:30pm I went for lunch to Nino's Pavilion. I am a regular customer of Nino's as I love their vegetarian options and often frequent the Westwood and Moses Mabhida branches - at least once a week - where I take most of my clients.
I had ordered the Pasta with the vegetarian option with side order of chips and my mother had ordered tea and pizza. I reminded the waiter TWICE that i want the vegetarian option and he said he understands. When the meal came I ate a spoonful only to realise its Chicken. I am strictly vegetarian and was appalled that after two reminders he had still messed this up. He had also forgotten to bring the chips and the tea. The Margherita ordered was also sloppy and the orders didn''t come together. I took real exception to being given the chicken and complained to the manager who didnt even bother offering me a replacement meal. It just seemed as if they couldn't really be bothered for the customer. I have been coming to Nino's for more than 4 years now. I love the food and advise all my clients to have lunch there. This has really put a damper on this. I would appreciate a response from a more senior staff member.
