Last night I ordered a takeaway gluten-free pizza. What was served was a yellow corn flour base 'pizza' which tasted disgusting. On top of that there was a surcharge of R20... for this shocking food (corn flour is cheap). So if I had wanted a tortilla, I would have gone to a Mexican restaurant, and I can't even give it to my dog as he does not eat gluten-free! No self respecting restaurant would serve this rubbish, as gluten-free flour consists of a mix of rice, potato and/or other flours which is whitish and is made to taste similar to wheat flour.
Sadly looking through all the complaints on this site, this is a classic case of a restaurant chain cutting down on quality of ingredients, and clearly the food quality, staff/cooks, service and decisions is somewhat poor. I don't understand their business model which cannot be sustainable as they take customers for a ride and they give a bad name to the hospitality industry. Primi used to be good when they opened years ago, but now they just don't know what they are doing any more... they have lost the plot. A clear case of cost cutting, greed and inability to run a decent business.
