I bought a 10kg sasko cake flour (batch no/ bar code 6001571011109) and when I opened the bag to bake a cake I was shocked to find big slabs, it looked like tile pieces. but it was the flour, I was so disappointed because I couldn't take it back to the store I bought it from because I threw my receipt. I always use sasko because I like the flour. I want to know what happened to your saying I quote " Cake flour is a very fine, white, free-flowing flour, ideally suited for light and finely textured goods, such as yeast-leavened products (i.e. rolls, buns and doughnuts), pastry (i.e. pies, croissants and tartlets) and confectionery (i.e. sponge cakes, layer cakes and choux pastry)." unquote this is not up to your standard and I have the pieces kept, this is not ethical for a huge company to pack flour without checking the quality of the products.
I think its now time for me to change my brand from sasko to Blue Ribbon
