I went to go buy some fish at Old Fashioned Fish and Chips at Vaal Mall today. I placed my order with the man at the till. On collecting my order I advised the man at the till that I would be sitting down and eating my food there so he spoke to the ladies behind him and they put my food onto a plate looking very annoyed. Another man, not sure of his position there, came to the counter to bring me my food and I asked for the sauce that I had paid for and he spoke in an African language and kept saying something about tomato sauce and I kept saying tartare sauce. I had to show him which sauce I wanted because he didn't have a clue. I then asked for a knife and fork and he looked at me without knowing what I was saying. I proceeded to use hand gestures to show him what I meant. He then asked the other man and he came back with only a plastic fork. I was told that they didn't have any knives. I asked the man at the till if they didn't have any knives in the kitchen and he said only very big knives, he did not make any effort to get me a knife. Very unprofessional not to have any cutlery. The attitude of all the staff I dealt with was terrible. I unfortunately do not know their names.
