On 27 Dec 2013 we stopped at the Wimpy in Kokstad on our way home from our holiday in Natal. We were seated, but no menu's, so we eventually collected them ourselves. After some time we managed to order our breakfast. After having to ask again, our breakfast arrived some time later. The egg on my plate was only the yellow left and on inspecting this, I found a saucy chip stuck the bottom of this egg (there were no chips in my order), so it became clear that this egg was taken off another leftover plate of someone who only ate the white!!! Disgusting. After this we checked all the orders and found tomato sauce under and on the side of the eggs on my daughters plate, so this also came off another plate. This was promptly send back with the waiter after explaining our disgust to her. She never disputed the allegations, which confirmed we were correct. The next round arrived and this time the egg whites were still raw (medium eggs orders). This time we called the manager and explained all to him. he also never disputed anything we said, which then confirmed to us that this is probably common practice in this store to use leftover food for new customers. Disgusting!!!
