This is possibly the worst restaurant i have ever been to. At the end of october 2013 we attended a quiz evening held at the restaurant. The food was mediocre at best and the service bad. As part of the prize for our group coming second we were given R200 meal vouchers for the restaurant. Photocopies signed in original ink by the manager. Today i went back for take aways and when it came to pay and i gave my voucher in (which had no expiration date) i was told that it wasnt valid. When i queried why they said as the manager no longer works at the restaurant and because the voucher was a copy! Really i never knew you could copy pen inked signatures to look so original. I do not appreciate it being insinuated that i am a and/or trying to score a free meal. I can afford my own meals but do expect them to hold to their word which is stated in the voucher. Also the voucher was for a meal at La Familia Restorante not the managers house so i do not see the relevance whether he still works there or not. Clearly La Familia is only for the owners family as whenever i have seen it there is only ever one table and the rest empty. Good Luck clearly you need the R200 more than me.
