I was attending a party on 10/12/2013 (Note: the party was only TWO STREETS away from the local Debonairs) and decided to order a pizza. We decided to do so over the Debonairs Android app; which has worked seamlessly in the past in various locations across South Africa. After an hour or so our pizza has still not arrived. We decided to take matters in our own hands and make a call to the branch.
A woman answered and we asked her to check if she could see our order and if they are busy processing it. I gave her my name and number, and she said they're still processing it and will get back to us shortly. Another half an hour went past and we then decided to take further action.
We walked to the Goodwood Debonairs and asked them if our order is ready and yet again gave my number and name. They then said that there was no such order placed; even though my Debonairs app says it has been placed and they also said it was placed when we called. When we asked who it was that we talked to over the phone the Goodwood Debonairs employees got defensive and within a few seconds there was 4 other employees backing the woman that helped us up.
