I usually go to Spur for their great tasting spare ribs (pork). I went to the one in Rosebank and found out it is halaal. They don't serve pork products, ie. spare ribs. It was like going to Chicken Licken and being told they don't serve wings.
That was very disappointing to me as a customer. I understand that the owner of that particular franchise probably follows a religion that forbids the consumption of pork and I respect that. I believe that the customer should always come first, not the owner in such instances. If someone decides to open a Spur, then they should serve all items on a Spur menu.
