I was quite disgusted by the lack of customer service from what looked like the manager of Anat Sandton City (he was the only whikte guy there and was shouting at all his stuff members). I went there this afternoon to order lunch and this guy abruptly took my order, without greeting or even acknowledging me. I needed to pay with my debit card so I gave him the card and he swiped it and I entered my pin and the transaction was declined. He then gave me back the card and the slip and said "declined" and moved on to the next customer. I tried asking what the problem was as I have more than enough funds in my account but he blatantly ignored me and carried on with the other customer. I immediately went to the bank to check if something was wrong with my account and they said everything was fine and that the merchant either selected the wrong account type or there was a problem with their point of sale machine. I am very very digusted by the treatment I received from your representative and can assure you that i am NEVER returning to Anat Sandton city and I will make sure to share this story with ALL my friends and collegues. Quite shameful!
