I went to Sandton City for Christmas shopping with my kids, after shopping we just wanted to relax and have our meal at Wimpy because their food is great, comfortable chairs, it cater for the whole family especially when you have kids and most of all their service is excellent in every wimpy i go to.
When we arrived at Wimpy on Sunday the 17th the all the staff were at the counter ready to serve but before they could serve us a cleaner said to us (bafunani laba thina sesi valile) meaning what do we want we have already closed i was shocked and very disappointed about the approach as the were no sign that they have closed. I asked for a manager, then a gentleman came and he was smiling at me all the time and i was very irritated as he could not solve the problem he just said i apologise but we close at six and it was not even 18h00 on the dot when the rude cleaner told us that they have closed.
I think they staff should be trained on how to address costumers, i understand that maybe he had a long day and he wants to go home but there is a better way of saying it. I also had a long day. Eventually we all decided to go to McDonald as it is next to wimpy with my kids.
