Food not up to standard, items out of stock

On Friday night I went to KFC in Three Rivers, Vereeniging. It was chaos!!! We were standing in the drive thru queue for over 30minutes. Over half of the KFC menu were out of stock "due to high demand".

After ordering the Family treat we got home to eat. The meat were not smelling very fresh. The oil that the chicken were cooked in were burned and obviously used over and over before, so the 10 piece Family Treat were horrible and no one in the family had supper on Friday night.

I understand that they were very busy and could not handle the pressure, but the standards were dropping and the food was really of a very low standard. This is not a good "add" for KFC..

We have spend so much money on take-always on Friday night and so much time in the queue just to go to bed hungry. This was not the first time we had a bad experience with this KFC.

Did receive call from KFC call centre after reporting it. KFC branch phoned me with just a "sorry, will not happen again". Not a "we want to give you a voucher etc". Not acceptable for me..
