Had coffee on 27/10/13 and daughter ordered omelet. My table number was 15/1 with chk 2392 .
The omelet was R 24, 90 and she asked for mushroom, tomato and bacon as filling. The omelet is suppose to come with standard filling but I was charged for everything separately. The filling amounted more than the actual main dish which was the omelet. Mushroom @ 17, 90, bacon @19, 90 and tomato @ 4, 90 totaling for fillings at R 42, 70 . The total amount then for a basic omelet without even cheese comes down to R67, 60!!!
I spoke to manager and told her that its to much and she replied that I was not the first customer complaining about it. She then gave me a 10 % discount as well as a free muffin. I phoned the branch manager Colette Stassen to complain about the pricing structure but couldn't reach her so I sent her a sms explaining.
She never came back to me and I wouldn't support M&B again if that is the way they rip their customers of especially for the fact that the manager knew about the problem and admitted by offering me the discount and muffin. Everyone should make a profit but charging R 67, 60 for a basic omelet is pushing profit to the point of losing customers!
