On Sunday morning my husband and I were on the road and thought it would be a good idea to pop into Maxi's for brunch. It turned out to be a hair raising experience...
1. The door to the smoking section is damaged and doesn't work properly, the waiters thought it would be a good idea to therefore leave the door permanently open, letting the non-smoking customers breathe in unwanted smoke. I had to get up myself to repeatedly close the door (which took some effort since it was broken).
2. The waiter got my order wrong, giving me an omelet that I did not order, and when I made her aware of this, she lifted the omelet with her bare hand to check what is inside (mushrooms and ham in this case - not what I ordered).
3. At no point did the waiter or the manager offer any form of compensation or apology.
Stay away from this Maxi's, it is doing the brand damage
