Yesterday (23/10/2013) I went to Steers Secunda and placed a takeaway order for a saucy burger and chips and a steers combo. And so my story begins:
Firstly, I had to wait 40min for my order with no staff member bothering to tell me that there would be such a wait. You can get food served faster at almost any sit-down restaurant!
The store was very untidy with chairs everywhere (not at tables) and the tables were not cleaned up once people left.
Food was piled up on under the warmer just waiting to be given to customers because the two people that appeared to be the managers/supervisors were visibly and audibly arguing at the chip fryer in full view of all the customers. I could not tell what the argument was about but I have my suspicions based on the chips that I received.
When my food was eventually ready I rushed out the store as I was now running late.
On the drive back I found that my burger was very cold (it must have be lying around for about 15min after it was prepared), the outer wrapping was completely messed with sauce and I received 2 packets of the crispy, oily remains that sink to the bottom of the fryer, not chips!
Horrible experience and food, I feel so robbed!
