We decided to have lunch at Piatto, Gateway. The service was really slow despite it being rather empty for a weekend. Our starter order of buffalo wings got forgotten and never arrived at the table. The one main dish we ordered was the Oriental chicken Wok. I was disgusted to find the green beans absolutely rotten, brown and squishy and cooked into the stir fry. When the manager was called he was so nonchalant and just offered another meal. He didn't offer an apology either, just told us it wasn't his fault as he was not cooking the food. I find that mentality and service disgusting. We are paying good money for the food and should receive good fresh wholesome food. I felt sick all evening with a runny tummy as I had already eaten some of the food before finding the rotten beans. I'm really disgusted and upset at this terrible incident. We will not be returning to Piatto. Disgusting food and terrible service, your franchise should be ashamed and it needs to be investigated by the Health dept.
