Good day,
This is a complaint about the bouncer (I believe his name is Jabu) on duty on the night of Thursday 08/08/2013. I had recommended to 3 friends of mine to go out for cocktails at Billy's as they have the best cocktails in town. When we arrived, the bouncer asked one of my friends for identification. He took out his id book, as he was about to open it, his favourite song came on and he literally did 3 to 4 steps to the song before handing over his id book to the bouncer. The bouncer then asked him why he danced first before giving him the id book. As he was about to respond that it's his favourite song, and that he did not in any way mean to offend him, the bouncer asked us to leave. When I tried to reason with the bouncer that it's his favourite song, and he was not in any way being rude, he told us that all he wanted was an id book and not a performance. He proceeded to be rude to ask if we get stooped by traffic officers, do we tell them we first want to listen to our favourite song. I believe this was highly unnecessary and rude of the bouncer. I am not insinuating that the bouncer be disrespected, but he needs to be cognisant of his work environment.
Sullen Patron.
