KFC is just down from our offices, and I have been going there for a few months now at least 3 times a week. This week I was double charged on my card.
This process is easy enough for me to reverse with my bank, but it was the attitude of the manager that has brought me here. After raising the issue that I was billed twice, the manager emerged from the office with a piece of paper, pointed to the clause/issue - waited a few seconds - and then said, "Understand? "
I am a customer, I spend money there. It is a place that I frequent, and when this issue occurred, the least I deserve is the common courtesy of an apology, and calm explanation of the situation. If you want to run a business, you need to care about your customers. Not treat them like second class citizens.
I am going to eat at St Elmo's, Debonaires or Nandos instead. It is not much further down the road.
