Due to us (Muslims) fasting, we are only allowed to eat at 17:41 and since there is a lack of halaal wimpy outlets in jhb the only one we can turn to is either Fordsburg or Greenside. On Saturday afternoon at around 2PM, i had called Wimpy Fordsburg (the closer one of the 2) to place an order for collection at 16:30 later that day. Bear in mind I live 40km from this outlet, having got there at exactly 16:30 only to be told that my order has not been processed. I had driven all the way, fasting the whole day, to pick up a meal which was not ready. Then to be told wait and they will prepare it. The staff had shown no consideration to the fact that i specifically mentioned on the phone that i am not coming from around the corner and the guy who took my order assured it will be ready as soon as i walk in. Looks like customer service is not a goal in this particular outlet.
