It used to be a treat buying KFC but now its consistently disappointing. I bought 2 streetwise 2's and 4 zinger wings from Gunret Foods (Pty) Ltd t.a. KFC Centurion on 23 July 2013. I eagerly opened the 2 streetwise 2 boxes when I got home just to find 4 minuscule pieces of dried out chicken between a handful of tasteless chips. To top it off, the zinger wings where so dry they crumbled away to nothing in my hands. Gone are the days of succulent chicken wrapped in the Colonel's secret blend of 11 herbs and spices. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience earlier this month when I ordered a chicken burger. It seems to me that the Colonel has succumbed to the modern day trend of offering less for more. Less product, less quality, less nutrition, less value, less taste, less service for more money and bigger profits. Farewell Colonel Sanders, I will truly miss you but it's time I try out your competitor where I get 25% cash back... and chicken still tastes like chicken!
