I just returned from my 1st experience at Vangate Mall's Spur. I was looking forward to enjoying a lovely breakfast, only to have the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. I'm relatively easy to please & therefore I did not make too much of a big deal after I found hair in my mushrooms, but what made me feel sick is when the waiter brought me a new plate of food... Only to find hair in these mushrooms as well!! After examining the hair it looked synthetic. I notified the Manager who was very apologetic &offered me another meal (this would have been no.3), I graciously refused. What prompted me to write this on Hello Peter is due to one of the other Managers (older gentleman) asking how the food was, I replied with my encounter only to be advised it was from the brushes used. Now I'm not a brush expert, but I'm intelligent enough to know the difference between synthetic hair and an actual bristle. This Manager was quite nonchallant about this which more than surprised me & made me wonder which other hygiene issues are being treated with the same attitude. THERE SHOULD BE NO FOREIGN OBJECTS IN FOOD AS ITS A HEALTH HAZARD!!!
