I changed my mind and decided not to use the cake maker that I met at Oakfield farm expo in 2013 . Her terms and conditions stated that orders plus deposit must be must 3-4 months before wedding, I paid 8 months before and then when i asked her if I could change the flavour of cake she refused and was very unfriendly torwards me. I then decided i would no longer use her services. I wrote her an email notifying her that I am entitled to a full refund of R1000 deposit paid and she let me me know she would only refund R500 later on that day, although her terms and conditions are very clear and state if cancelled one month before the client would only be refunded half the amount =R500. I cancelled 7 months before and wrote to her again about a full refund. She is now ignoring my emails for weeks and I find her to be unprofessional in this regard. I will certainly be seeking legal action against her, as well as contacting the SAPS if need be.
