Made a booking for a kiddies party at SPUR Wonderpark / Karenpark, we agreed on the verbal quotation, which included a booking fee of 10% of our total bill for the day (kids and the adults bill which I was standard -when bill came everything was printed except for the billing fee that was written out. one of our friends ask why does this particular outlet ask for a booking fee, when we asked the manager why he said it is an internal arrangement, (it is a tip), why must was i told that the 10% if compulsory and the gratuity section is still blank which means we are tricked to pay the 10% tip and without knowing pay an extra tip. this is day light and also a contravention of the Consumer Protection Act.
