On Monday 01 April, a public holiday, my family and I decided to go to Mike's Kitchen Alberton for supper. On the stairs up to the restaurant specials are advertised. Monday specials 250g rump R39.99 and 500g rump R59.99.
On enquiring about the special the waiter informed us that as it was a holiday the special was not available. Nowhere is this mentioned.
My son and I decided on Mike's Sizzling Steak which is described as a sirloin steak aged for tenderness. The steaks were very tough. I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty to whom I gave my contact details for the owner to contact me. No response.
Not receiving a response from Mike's Kitchen Alberton I left a message on Mike's Kitchen website. Once again, no response.
