? They took the the booking money and ran?!!

I enquired with moyo Zoo Lake for a Mothers' Day booking. They replied almost immediately telling me, sure, but it's a set menu, and you'll have to pay 50% upfront. Even got an invoice and everything. The practice I thought a bit harsh and the price definitely a bit steep and taking advantage of Mothers' Day, but I thought, what the, it's for mum, let me do it. So I transferred the cash, and sent notification. No response. Sent an email. No response. Another email. No response. Is the booking confirmed? No idea. Was there an issue? No idea. Where will I go for Mothers' Day? No idea. Am I out of cash? Sure! Moyo is smiling! : ) I'm not : (. Too bad they don't realise that one happy customer tells one person, one unhappy customer tells one hundred. It's the dumbest cliche, but I guess they 1) don't know that, which is terrible, or 2) don't care. Nice lawns, pleasant afternoon and outdoor setting? Try someplace else - not worth the trouble You won't even be able to get in - even after you've paid!!!
