I emailed last yr as i wanted to open new policy.i didnt get response so i opened 1 with metropolitan.i learnt u get premiums returned if u ever cancel so i started enquiring about 1lifes cash benefits.no response.so i complained &woman phoned &said email isnt priority.i said email is legal record &if 1life doesnt prioritise email then shouldnt hv email service. was told ph records can b used by clients also. i got call after that saying 1life gives loans so i checked with direct axis &i dont even qualify because i dont hv debt so low credit score. paying my policy monthly accounts for nothing so i wanted to cancel as using 1life is like pouring money into a hole - it has no value &only "valid" claims r processed so no garuntee on death payout. i later called client services - always busy - so used callback service. whn i called i was told to email (again).i did. then i used callback agn. man phoned & checked & said there is no records at any dept! after huge hassle he says oh, he got email at 09h00 yet he called past 11h00 to tell me there no record. 1life as a whole... bad service. do i get reimbursed now as there was useless service rendered? very appalled at experience
