In February my Debit card was cloned. I stopped my bank card immediately and a case was opened by Standard bank. They send me an SMS notifying me that they will contact me in 10 working days, 10 working days gone by, and I was given no feedback. I went to the bank, and they advised me to call the call centre. I contacted the call centre and after being on hold for an half an hour, I was told that my case was marked as urgent and they will contact me the following day. The following day I was not contacted. I contacted the call centre again and was told the same thing after being on hold for 45 min. It is now 18 April and still got no feedback. I did not act irresposibly with my debit card and expect the bank to cover my loss by their insurance.
