I am highly disgusted in ABSA Insurance.
I lodged a claim last week Monday with the insurance and until today after leaving messages nearly every day I am still waiting for the so called "Manager' to call me back.
I was again told by ABSA yesterday that they would contact me back - EMPTY PROMISES. They sent a contractor out late at night last week Wednesday already.
I want my OWN contractor because I know much more reliable people than ABSA's contractors. Waybridge Consulting shouldnt be on their panel if ABSA says they are waiting for them. And I will not pay the excess on the lightning because there has not been no lightning in our area for a very long time (ABSA go look at the weather reports in my area and catch a wake up).
I would not recommend ABSA insurance to anyone cause the service is horrendous to say the least. Whilst formulating this complaint I was still waiting for a Marius Kruger to come back to me. So much for service delivery.
I am prepared to pay the R500 excess but then I want my OWN contractor to come out now.
