I applied for an Open Jaw surgery (surgery date: 15/12/2012), it was declined as a 'hip replacement' in the attached letter from Oneplan's Underwritter... and out of the blue my policy was 'amended' without my permission to do so - now I have an extra debit order of R347.50 from the end of the month (December 2012) which I did not know of so obviously it was not authorised. This is unacceptable and I had to find this out for myself by accident. and still till today (15 April 2013) i have been struggling to cancel the unauthorized debit order, no one at the complaints department even gets back to me after i sent the complaint in December 2012... every time i phoned the call centre all the people i spoke to previously were suddenly 'unavailable'... double debit orders go off and i cant even go and reverse the debit orders because i need a letter from Oneplan to do so... now try getting that letter out of them??? USELESS!!! how can a business run like that!!!
