Seven days after logging a complaint with the African bank call centre, African bank still haven't contacted me by any means. Mail or call. In fact it start to cost me money because I have to do the work of their officials. Deductions were made (double/triple) from my account on behalf of bears. In fact I have a reference number from beares when I called them and discussed the issue. Even they admit that African bank cannot deduct any money of a personal banking account without the consent and SIGNATURE of the customer. There are no legal binding contract or agreement where I gave bears, nor African bank permission to deduct money from my current bank account.
The other upsetting issue is the fact that African bank does not respect OR HONOUR their clients arrangements with them. Automatic deductions on the wrong date is always blamed on the "system". This happen EVERY month... Get a system then that work. If African bank cannot honour arrangements and blame everything on the "system", they need to have a serious look into their IT.
Reading through all the comments and posts regarding this bank, all I can say is SHAME ON YOU... CPA & the Banking Ombutsman is the next step.
